I had a quick question about spray foam insulation. We have to redo our roof since there's a lot of damage and my husband keeps talking about using spray foam insulation. Does anyone know if you need roof vents with spray foam insulation?

I read somewhere that the weather and climate type that you live in can effect whether you should or shouldn’t need a vent in your house or not. There are also other things that can influence on getting one like construction materials and anticipated vapor drive. I hope this little bit of information helps you.

If you hire a professional, they will probably know if your house needs a vent in it if you use spray foam ventilation. I think I did hear about how temperature inside and outside your house, the building type, and other things can impact on whether you need a vent or not.
