I'm trying to figure out the best roof to use on my new house. It's barely in the construciton faze so I have time. What is a pitched roof? Does anyone have free time to explain this type?

As I was researching pitched roof I came across this site description that explains pitched roofs are traditional and common type of roof to build since it's easy to build it. The more you increase the pitch to these roofs, the better it is during raining weather. The water can run off faster and prevent leaks from happening since the water slips away faster.

You might want to choose a pitched roof might good for your house if you have a lot of rain weather. Creating a pitched roof allows water from the rain to slide down faster. The more increase in the pitch, the faster the water can slide down your roof. This can be good for leaks since it can prevent leaks since the water isn't on the roof as long.
