Yeah, it's fine bro. You just gotta take care, and like don't be skipping along it and don't go up in flip flops. Take it easy, wear some proper footwear and don't go up when it's wet.

Do you have a death wish? There's no good reason for someone who isn't properly trained to go up on a roof. It almost always ends in disaster, and if it doesn't, it's from sheer luck. Suck it up and call a roofer, they do it every day and it's not your responsibility if something happens to them, as they'll be insured.

You can go up on a metal roof, you just need to be very aware of everything. First, make sure that the roof is actually in good condition. Do you have someone that can help you, like put a rope around you and hold on? Or get a roof harness, so if you slip, you're basically attached to the roof. Wear rubber soled shoes. Lean into the roof to handle the incline, if there is one. Walk along sideways and watch your step!
